The restaurant seats 80 guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the week. It is open to the public and is a popular venue amongst other culinary delights for its excellent Carvery Sunday Lunch Buffet. The room is furnished with blond-wood tables and comfortable leather chairs. Guests can also try A la Carte or Table d' Hote menus at the restaurant supported by a large selection of wines, beers and spirits.
Both continental and full English breakfast are available buffet style from 7.00am until 9.30am (Monday to Friday) and from 8.00am until 10.00 am (Saturday and Sunday)
Lunch
The Bistro menu is available from 11.00am until 6.00pm (Monday to Saturday) and from 5.00pm to 9.00pm on Sundays. The menu offers light meals such as paninis, jacket potatoes as well as main meals such as lasagne and gammon plus many more.
The A la carte menu is available from 6.30pm until 9.30pm, 7 days a week. The menu boasts appetisers of seared scallops and chicken liver pate to main meals of sauteed king prawns and roast leg of lamb to sumptuous desserts of lemon and ginger cheesecake and Normandy style warm apple tartlets.
The bar caters for a wide range of customers throughout the day and evening with an emphasis on comfortable leather seating, excellent service and a bar menu offering high quality, value for money food. A total of 3 screens featuring The Happy Hour Machine and 2 state-of-the-art large plasma screens keep sports fans happy and most evenings the bar offers DJ-led entertainment until 1am. Customer feedback has helped in making 'Destination Bar' an extremely popular venue in Newcastle city centre.
