As part of our check‑in process, we kindly ask all guests to present a valid form of photo ID on arrival.

This helps us ensure the safety and security of everyone staying with us and confirms that the correct guest is checking in. Accepted forms of ID include:

– Passport

– Driving license (United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland only)

– National ID card

– Any other official photo identification

Please make sure to bring this with you to avoid any delays at check‑in. At check-in, we place a temporary hold on your credit or debit card when you arrive of £50. This isn’t a charge—just a refundable hold that ensures any incidental costs (like room service or minibar items) are covered during your stay. The amount is released automatically after checkout.

Cancellation Policy: 12pm day prior to arrival, if cancelled after this time charges will apply for 1st night of stay.

Payment Terms: Pay on Arrival.

Discount available for NHS, Emergency Services, and Military employees who present a valid form of their work ID. Dining discount can be redeemed from the whole bill, valid in Empire Restaurant and Bar. Rooms discount is valid for the card holder’s room only; multiple rooms cannot be booked with one ID. Discount cannot be used in conjunction with packages and offers, cannot be combined with other discounts, and is subject to availability.

A pre-authorisation for the 1st night of your stay will be taken the day prior to your arrival from the card used to make your booking with payment for the entire booking processed on arrival. If cancelled within cancellation period then charges for 1st night of stay will apply. Subject to availability and blackout dates. This offer is not available in conjunction with any other discount or promotion and applies to new reservations only. Offer may be amended, removed, or terminated at any time (this does not impact any reservations which have already been booked).

From 1st July, access to the Leisure Club will be chargeable for hotel guests. The following terms and conditions apply:

Access Charges

  • £5.00 per person, per day

  • Valid from check-in time until 11:00 AM the following day

  • Children under 3 years – free of charge (must wear a swim nappy)

  • Payment to be made at Reception upon check-in or added via the Leisure Club desk

  • Charges can be applied at any point during the stay

Access Includes

  • Entry to the Leisure Club from check-in until 11:00 AM the following day

  • Voucher issued upon payment – must be presented for entry

Voucher Benefits

  • 10% discount on food and drink at the Hotel & Tickets Bar (printed on reverse of voucher)

  • Discount not valid in conjunction with other offers

We will be happy to store your luggage until you check in but we do ask for a £1 donation in doing so.

In-Room Spa Ritual

Package is subject to availability. Robes are provided for use during your stay and remain the property of the hotel.

Sleep Recovery Kit

Package is subject to availability. Equivalent alternatives may be substituted where necessary.

Express LED Face Mask Glow Ritual

Express LED Face Mask Glow Ritual is subject to availability. The LED face mask is provided for exclusive use for up to 24 hours during your stay and remains the property of the hotel. The mask must be returned to the front desk at the end of the 24-hour period or on check-out, whichever is sooner. A credit card pre-authorisation will be taken at check-in, and any items removed, lost or damaged will be charged at the equivalent replacement value.

Robe and Slippers

Package is subject to availability. Robes are provided for use during your stay and remain the property of the hotel. Any items removed from the room may be charged at the equivalent replacement value.

Late Check-Out

Late check-out is subject to availability and available until 12pm, subject to availability. If late check-out cannot be accommodated, the charge will be refunded in full.
